Condolences

Condolence From: The Bailey Family
Condolence: Gerry, Nicole and Christina
Our condolences for your family at this difficult time. I only met Linda on three occasions, but what a vibrant, kind soul. She was kind enough to share her stories and pictures with us of her childhood home. We live in her first home on St. James. We met her mother and brother as well. I I hope that the months ahead are filled with comfort and peace.

Condolence: Linda, I called your house today to speak with Gerry. He was not home. But your message was on the answering machine. Your lovely voice is as much a tune in my ears as the music that you brought to all of us throughout the years and for which we are all grateful. I called back a few times just to listen to the message. Linda, you were a bright light in my life and for so many others. You are deeply missed.

Condolence From: Gloria Richardson (#24)
Condolence: Dear Gerry:
I had heard of Linda's illness but it was still a shock to read about it in the North Shore News. I am so very, very sorry. Linda was so vibrant and full of life. Of course I remember especially those Christmas get-togethers at your place when Linda played the piano and we all sang carols very lustily, fuelled no doubt by the plenteous food and wine. I would like to thank you and her for making everyone feel so welcome, even a shy person like me. Linda's smile was always so warm and inviting.
The next few weeks, months and years will be very hard for you as you adjust to your changed life. I am glad you have a large loving family to support you. But, as I know from my own experience after losing my husband, there will be times when you feel very alone. I would like to be comforting and say that time heals but in my case it certainly hasn't. Still, as time passes you find ways of coping with the grief. Life can still be good and there are many things to appreciate. Learn to cherish existence for its own sake even without joy.
With my deepest sympathy,
Gloria

Condolence: We were so sorry to learn of Linda's illness and recent passing. We didn't know her well but who could not be captivated by her winning smile and charming ways? And while all members of the choir were coached to smile it was obvious that Linda did so not because she was trying to connect with the audience but rather because she was truly enjoying herself. May you and your family be comforted by your many happy memories during this difficult time.

Condolence: Joan & I send our condolences to you Gerry and your family. It has been a long time since we connected and many years since I saw Linda. Time heals all, but such contrite pittances mean little at this time.

From your little bro,
Don
