It is with great sadness that we share that Christopher Jon Sutherland Westwood, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly on November 16, 2015 at the age of 29. He attended Pauline Johnson Elementary School, and graduated from Sentinel Secondary School in West Vancouver. He went on to attend Carleton University in Ottawa where he loved being close to extended family. At the time of his passing, he attended BCIT where he started an apprenticeship in the Piping Foundations program and was very much looking forward to the opportunities that lay ahead in the Trades industry. He loved working with his hands and was always fixing something, or creating artwork. Christopher had a huge heart, he was a great uncle to his nieces and nephew, and we will all miss his bear hugs, big smiles and his laugh. He is survived by his mother and father, Ann and Peter, his sisters, Kate (Tim), Stephanie (Kevin), and Nikki (Ciaran), his nephew Noah, his nieces Reese and Samantha, and all his extended family and friends.

The memorial service will be held at St. Francis-in-the-Wood, December 4th at 2pm and the family would like to welcome everyone to celebrate his life after at a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Salvation Army, where he loved to thrift.
