Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Allanson-Oddy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Wally and Peggy Burnstad
Condolence: We hadn't seen John for some years after we retired from our furniture business which we had in Aldergrove, B.C. We loved the beautiful pine furniture manufactured by John. We enjoy our lovely pine sideboard which graces our kitchen. John was a very nice man and always went out of his way to do anything we asked of him. A few years before the closing of our business, John would come out and visit. We lost touch but, did think of him and hoped he had found peace with someone nice and are happy to know he had with Lynda. Our condolences to all his family. Love Wally and Peggy

Condolence: John was a real sweetheart! When my husband and I moved into the Strathaven complex he was the very first person I met. Every day he would walk his dog Salem behind the complex and was so friendly if you met him walking. It was tough for both Lynda and John when he needed to go into care. Lynda visited him regularly and he was always appreciative of her visits. He loved her dearly, always calling her "Mumsy". Linda considered herself lucky to have met him and fallen in love with such a good kind man. May he rest in peace and may Lynda find comfort in knowing that they had a great loving bond.
