The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gordon English can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Don and Linda Skinner

A large country separated my brother-in-law from us, so our memories of times with Gordon are focused around our visits to B.C. or their visits to the east. Thank you Gord for those memories at Indian Arm and aboard the Banook. Our first visit to Vancouver included a trip on the Banook. My wife Linda caught her very first salmon on her birthday while on-board;the only fish of the day. You can imagine the comments and joking that went along with that as it was served up that evening! Sandra and Gord's visits with us around N.B., P.E.I. and N.S. were filled with lots of camaraderie and fun times. we will always remember those great memories. Gord's quick mind, great insights and humorous delivery of stories will truly be missed. Our thoughts are with you all. Don and Linda Skinner.
