Obituary for Thomas Rudkin Brown

Thomas Rudkin Brown
OBITUARY FOR THOMAS RUDKIN BROWN

Brown, Thomas Rudkin
March 15, 1919 – August 15, 2015

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Brown at the age of 96 years at Inglewood Care Centre. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. He is lovingly remembered by his son Larry (Fyfe), granddaughters Kristen (Mike), Marnie (Keith) and Lindsay (David) as well as six great grandchildren.

Tom was a wonderful father and proud grandfather. He was kind, considerate, hard working, dedicated and fun loving. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, fishing, and automobiles. He also had a wide circle of friends. Special mention is made to the members of the UNIFOR (Canadian Auto Workers, Local 114) who were like a second family to Tom.

A warm “thank you” is extended to the caregivers at Inglewood Care Centre and to Dr. I. Hughan and Dr. C. Bergstrom for their excellent medical care provided to Tom over the years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the UNIFOR (CAW) meeting hall at 326 12th Street, New Westminster, BC, V3M 4H6. In lieu of flowers we ask that you please make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of BC. To write a condolence to the family please visit www.mckenziefuneralservices.com.
