Bester, Thomas Joseph (October 27, 1941-April 08, 2021)
Tom was born in Kitchener, Ontario, the 6th of 18 children born to William and Alice Bester. Tom leaves behind his wife Jareth, daughter Trina (Alex) and grandchildren Sam, Jack and Sydney, and a large extended family of siblings.
Tom was a good sport who loved to play, watch and talk about any sport going especially golf and the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and the Canucks. He was a kind, fair, caring man who made sure to know and use your name. Wherever he lived he found many friends, each of whose story he wanted to understand, and who loved him and enjoyed his company.
Tom regularly donated to canuckplace.org and children’s hospital, and if you are looking for a way to remember or celebrate him a small donation to either would be fitting.
We loved having Grandpa Tom with us in Vancouver, we will miss him.
