Obituary for Robert Alexander Davie
With a heavy heart, we mourn the loss of our Dad, Robert Hood Alexander Davie, also known as Grampa Davie.
He Passed away at Louis Brier Home in Vancouver, B.C. At the age of 90. Feb. 12, 1933 - Aug. 18, 2023. Robert (Bob) was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Gordon Davie and Margaret Hood. He was predeceased by his wife Dawn Joyce Davie in 1991 and his son James Gordon Davie in 2023. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl (Russ), Texas and his daughter Brenda (Don), Calgary. Grandchildren Tara (Darcy), Tanya (Jon), Kimberly (Scott)
Jerod, Jason(Shauna), Calven (Daniela) and 11 great grandchildren. He will be missed by his dear friend, Lorenda, and Ola, Dr. Leslie Brown, Lillian, Kathie, and so many that he touched during his life. Robert loved to travel and toured many cities by the local transit system. He was an avid sports fan for hockey, football and golf. He was so very proud of his family and their accomplishments and followed their achievements and they loved him dearly. Robert worked in aviation and retired at the age of 70. He lived life to the fullest and made the most of each day.
