Obituary for Rita Eleanor Wiener (Matthes)
With great sadness, the family of Rita Wiener announces that Rita passed away peacefully at the North Shore Hospice on April 18, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She will be remembered and cherished by all who loved her kindness, humour, tenacity, caring, personal strength and engaging story telling. A special thanks to the numerous health-care providers who caringly assisted her on this journey. She was that “little engine that could”!
