Obituary for Olean Haskins
Olean Muriel Haskins passed away peacefully at her home in West Vancouver on August 12th, 2019 at the age of 80.
Olean is lovingly remembered by her husband Ron Haskins, Children, Paul Haskins (Briar) and Robin Bridge (Chris) Grandchildren Courtney, Bailey, Sterling and Henry, Sister Doreen Bell and Brothers Merv Brough (Chris) and Deb Brough (Gail). Olean was predeceased by her brother Charlie, brother in law Ken, Mother Cora and Father Alexander.
Olean was the heart of the family and her passing will leave a big hole. She filled many roles including Loving Wife, Mom, Sister, Best Friend, Cook, Baker, Seamstress and the Best Gam Gam, G-Ma and Grammy ever. She was most happy walking the seawall with Ron, enjoying Sunday breakfast at Granville Island and playing games and spending time with her family.
At Olean’s request there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of BC in Olean Haskins’ honour.
