Obituary for Margaret Fredaricka Fraser (Hartung)
With great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Fredaricka Fraser on October 29, 2022, at the age of 87. Margaret was born in Cape Town, South Africa on November 22, 1934 and is predeceased by her husband and companion John, brother Carl, sister Valerie and her parents. Margaret will be deeply missed by her daughter Fiona, sister Marlene and other relations.
Margaret met and married John in Cape Town and settled into family life in Johannesburg. John’s career took the family to his homeland of the UK and finally to Canada where Margaret enjoyed her garden and spent many happy hours outdoors. She was an exceptional seamstress, enjoyed needlework, knitting, crochet and was an avid reader. She will be lovingly remembered for her kind and generous spirit.
