Laurence was born in Singapore on 12 April 1942.

It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on Saturday February 26, 2022. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Chui Han; sons, Keen & Lee; daughter-in-law, Lisa; sister, Elizabeth; and brother, Charlie.

Laurence emigrated from Singapore to Vancouver with his family in 1991.

He enjoyed many sports, listened to classical music, and loved food. He was a kind, thoughtful and generous person who will be dearly missed by friends and loved ones.

The family wishes to thank all our relatives & friends, doctors, nurses & staff of the Lions Gate Hospital and the Vancouver Coastal Health for their care. Special thanks to Dr. Paul Sugar for his exceptional palliative care during his final hours.
