It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing away of our dear sister Joyce Noreen Page on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022.
Remembered by sister Gayle Shea (Wally), brother Doug Page (Josey), niece April Shea (Dennis), nephew Steven Shea (Sheri) and great nephew Taliesin Shea. She will be fondly remembered by colleagues, friends, and neighbours.
Joyce was a dedicated teacher and spent her career in the North Vancouver School District, other than 3 years that she taught at the Canadian Armed Forces Base in Baden-Baden, Germany. She travelled widely in Kenya, Egypt, Europe, the British Isles, South America, Thailand, and Antarctica.
After retirement, Joyce became an avid member of the Silver Harbour Seniors Activity Center, the West Vancouver Photo Club, and the Lynn Valley Garden Club.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring. In memory of Joyce, donations can be made to the Silver Harbour Senior’s Activity Center, the BC Cancer Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
