Obituary for John Caleb Frost

With sadness and peace we share that our father, John C. Frost, passed away peacefully on Feb 13th in his 83rd year. Both Doug and Shelley were fortunate to be with him thru his final days and were together with their Dad, holding his hand when he passed. He is now at peace with his wife of 52 years, Lois Frost, his 9 siblings (Bill, Bernard, Ernie, Hank, Mary, Josephine, Janet, Betty and Ann) and is surrounded by the many friends and family that passed before him, no doubt telling bad jokes and sharing a rum and coke with the Frost brothers. John was born and built a happy life in Edmonton before moving out to Vancouver with his wife in 2015. John always put family first, encouraged his kids to spread their wings and had a full arsenal of bad jokes for every occasion. Doug (Elaine) and Shelley are thankful for so many things, especially all the special people in Dad’s life, his grandkids Mackenzie and Riley Frost who he was so incredibly proud of, so many dear friends, neighbours, coworkers and extended family that includes 34 nieces and nephews. We know he would have wanted us to tell you all how special you were to him, and we want to thank you all for adding humour, love and great memories to dad’s life. Funeral Service will be held in Edmonton Friday March 3 at 12:30pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Sherwood Park with his nephew, Father Jim Corrigan, leading the service. We love you Dad. Safe travels.
