Obituary for Horstdieter Julius Seliger
On July 1st, 2020, Horstdieter Seliger passed away in North Vancouver. He leaves behind his loving wife, Elsa Seliger, in which they shared just short of 50 years together. His siblings Ruthild (Hank), Fred (Roswitha), Trudy (George), and their families in Canada. Also mourning his death are his extended Bodden-Leroux family (some in Canada, the USA, but mainly in the Dominican Republic, which was so dear to him).
A private funeral mass will be held at St. Edmund's Catholic Parish, North Vancouver.
Horst's family is so thankful for the caring nurses and support staff at Inglewood Care Home who took such great care of Horst. As well as all the supportive and amazing staff at Lions Gate Hospital and the North Shore Hospice.
Thank you as well, to the Seligers-Giovinazzo family, the Offereins, the Quist family and all those who have helped Elsa and her family over these past few months. Your thoughts and condolences have meant so much to us.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Shore Hospice Society and the Alzheimer's Society.
