Obituary for Gail Campbell Moersch (Alston)

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Gail Campbell Moersch announces her passing. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth Moersch, her two children, Paul (Michelle) and Jennifer, as well as her grandchild. Her more than 60 years dedicated to the Girl Guide organization in both England and in Canada, helped countless young girls grow to be community leaders. The impact that Gail had on this world was immense and she leaves us with a goal of reaching the shining example of kindness and selflessness that she was. Following a long and difficult battle with ALS, she passed away peacefully in her sleep in North Vancouver.

In honour of Gail’s memory and all she gave to the world, we ask that you continue her legacy of selfless love and compassion. Volunteer your time - do something nice every day for someone you love or someone you don’t even know and expect nothing in return. Bring a smile to the faces of those with whom you cross paths. Time is the most precious gift you can give; share of it freely and lovingly and Gail will live on in your kind act.

We miss her and will hold her with us forever.
