Obituary for Elinor Elaine Hudon

Born in Saskatoon to William and Dorothy Macklon nee DeLaunay, 11th generation to Pierre DeLaunay who arrived in Canada in 1624. First of 7 and pre-deceased by Edward in 1953 and father in 1992 and mother in 2002. Survived by 4 brothers and one sister, numerous nieces and nephews and Frank, her husband of 49 years 11 months and 19 days. She spent 33 years at BCIT most of that in the staff society and fought many causes. A special thank you to Rosemarie her best friend for the help and assistance since she became blind in 2012, also the support and friendship of the “Galiano Girls”. The family would also like to thank the St. Paul’s palliative care unit for stabilizing her and getting her able to go home, also Dr. A Javed, Dr. Eric Brisco (ret.), Dr. A. Avanessian Onc LGH, Dr A. Johner and the Coastal Health MAiD team who actually stopped the pain and the panic attacks. Her ashes to be sprinkled in Saskatchewan at a later date. No service at her request.
