Edna Mae Copley (nee Bannerman) of West Vancouver died on October 28th, 2018 at St. Pauls’ Hospital in Vancouver. She was born in Montreal on May 19th, 1937 to Anna and Thomas William Bannerman. She was the loving wife of 57 years to Donald Reg Copley. A devoted mother to seven children, and grandmother to ten grandchildren.

She was strong in her Catholic faith and was a member of St. Anthony’s parish in West Vancouver.
Edna is survived by her husband Donald Reg Copley and her children Kimberlie Horobec (David Horobec), Christopher Copley (Maureen Copley), Alison Mironuk (Allen Mironuk), Karen Vagvolgyi (Andras Vagvolgyi), Katherine Copley, James Copley and Shelley Robertson. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shanelle, Andrew and Larissa Horobec, Catherine Copley, Lauren and Thomas Mironuk, Tiemen and Kristina Vagvolgyi, and Ava and Tyler Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 8th, at 10 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish.
