It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edie Carrier. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. We will miss her kindness, caring, selflessness, intelligence and sense of humour. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rene, son Lyle, daughters Shelley, Laura (Tom), Andrea (Peter), stepdaughter Nathalie and grandchildren Rachel, Brittney, Blair, Ryan and Terra. Edie worked for Buster Brown Children’s Clothing and excelled as Sales Manager for Western Canada. She enjoyed travelling the world and sharing her experiences with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. The family wishes to thank the staff at Lions Gate Hospital and Northshore Hospice for the great care Edie received. Donations to either facility would be most welcome in lieu of flowers. A celebration of Edie’s life will be held at the Hollyburn Country Club, 950 Crosscreek Rd, West Vancouver on October 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
