Deborah McDonnell passed away at home on Thursday August 24, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends. Two days earlier she decided to do the MAID procedure after a five-year battle with ovarian cancer that she fought with determination and grit.

Deborah’s depth of care, compassion and honesty as a mother, caregiver, partner, nurse, sister, and friend will be missed. She will be remembered for her effervescent personality, medical knowledge, strong friendships and love of family, gardening, dogs, interior design as well as anything to do with the sea (beach walks, sea glass hunting, sailing and the colour blue) …and towhees!
