Obituary for Colleen Marguerite Walsh (Wenman)

Colleen was born in Maidstone Sask to Jack and Hilda Wenman. She went on to graduate as a reg psych nurse in Moose Jaw Sask and further completed a diploma in Administration and Health Management at university. Her employment was at Woodlands in New Westminster as a staff nurse and at community care facilities in Langley and South Surrey as manager. She also worked as a teacher on call in Surrey School District.

Colleen is survived by her sons Todd and Trent (Emma) and grandchildren Kolby, Hailey, Mallory, Connor and Tom.

Predeceased by brothers Ronald, Donavon, Robert and sisters Norma and Darleen.

Colleen loved traveling (visited 21 countries), reading, music, animals, children, learning new things, good discussion and above all being in nature - trees, flowers, skiing, hiking and just "doing".

After cremation her ashes will go on a hike with her family and be spread in a special place in nature where she will join her brother, his wife and her beloved pets: Spooky, Nibby and Sally.

If you are so moved, a donation may be made to SPCA, Childrens Hospital or a charity of your choice.

Colleen tried to live life with kindness and thoughtfulness for others and the motto living is giving and loving.
