Bie Ong, 81 years old, passed away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospice in North Vancouver on May 27, 2023. She is lovingly remembered by her brothers Odet Sugiarto Dharmarakshita and Djin Loen, nephews Armand, Otto and David, and niece Meta Lestari. Bie is predeceased by her sister Lina Piti Sumedha. She is survived by her close friend Liba and many other friends from her various clubs and interests.

A small gathering for friends and family is planned for Friday, June 9 from 11 am to 1 pm at Park & Tilford Gardens – Rose Room. Friends and family are invited to join virtually through this link.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the charities that Bie supported: the BC SPCA and the Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association.
