Barb passed away suddenly on March 14th at Lion’s Gate Hospital. She is survived by her husband Bob, sons Brian (Shelley) Bruce (Judy) and daughter Sharon (Parker) and her five amazing grandchildren, Dakota, Ryan (Natalie), Megan, Kylie (Carter) and Liam. Her sister, Dorothy, brothers Tom & Glen, brother-in-law Mike and sister-in-law Josette. In addition she is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends whom she considered family. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Ted and sister Beverly.

Above all Barb cherished her family and friends and the time she got to spend with them.

We wish to extend a thank you to the nurses and doctors in emergency and ICU at Lions Gate Hospital for the care they gave her. And a very special thank you to Dr. Bella Hughan. Words cannot properly convey her family’s gratitude.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday March 26th at 2pm at Seymour Golf & Country Club. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Little sisters together at the WGH, we've connected over the years. Dear Bob, I have a great memories of when you both visited us in Barbados all those years ago. Barb and I have laughed and reminisced at each '62B gathering. I will miss her. Janice Kinch

My sincere condolences to you and your family. Barb was a great classmate and getting to see her at our nursing reunions in Winnipeg over the years a real treat. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Dearest Family,
Words cannot adequately express my sadness at Barb's sudden passing. We shared so many wonderful times together; sightseeing in Hawaii and Phoenix; Christmases in Pointe Claire and Deep River when the kids were little; many happy times at the lake when we were all so young. This has been a time of immeasurable sadness for all of us...losing Larry and then Barb. May happy memories surround you, knowing that we are all walking this path together.
Much love to all of you, Auntie Linda,Laurie and Mike, Jodi and Rigo and family
