Angela Joan Konneke (nee Hopkins) passed away peacefully on Friday May 17th, 2019 in North Vancouver, B.C. Born October 28th, 1941 in Salford England she has lived many places and touched many hearts. Predeceased by her husband George (1990), treasured mother to Marlies (Todd), Karl (Marlo), and Manya; and much-loved Grammy to Tate, Brooklyn, Paige, Parker, Georgia, and Britain. Survived by her siblings; Shirley (George Boland), Terry (Marion), and Enid (Nick Kousinioris) and predeceased by sister and brothers: Kevin Hopkins, Reggie Hopkins, Pauline Potts and Brian Hopkins. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends who are too numerous to name. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on May 24th 2019 at St Antony’s Catholic Church, West Vancouver, please join us for fellowship afterwards. If desired, donations may be made to the Northshore Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
