God looks around his garden
And he found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and
Lifted you to rest,
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best,
He knew you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again,
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered “Peace be thine”
A golden heart stop beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
It broke our hearts to see you go,
But you didn’t go alone,
Part of us went with you.
They say that memories are golden,
Well maybe that is true,
But we never wanted memories,
We only wanted you,
Your life was love and labour,
Your Darian was all your life,
Your love for your family true,
You did your best for us,
You have been everything to us
A father, a husband, a son, a brother, an uncle,
a nephew, a cousin, a friend.
Sorry we couldn’t do anything for you,
But will always remember you,
Our lips cannot speak how we loved you,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
But God only knows how we miss you,
In every moment of our life.
