Condolence From: Garry Beach
Condolence: Tributes of Pat will be stated by many throughout Canada and across the globe. As much as he was a great ambassador for the sport in which he loved so much - his core sense of pride was always that of his beloved family - Parents Jean & Jack gave us all one of the great examples to follow in the values of what 'family' is truly all about. May Pat rest in the peace he so richly deserves. Condolences to wife Sandra, daughters, brothers Barry & Guy and sister Carol. The East End Community of Hamilton have been blessed to have the Quinn Family within their midst.

Condolence: To the Quinn Family, I never got the honour or privilege to meet Mr. Quinn. However, I feel that I got a glimpse into what a Great Man he was from my very dear friends Sherry and Glenn. Their love and respect for Pat shines through whenever they speak of Pat and Sandra. My heart goes out to you Mrs. Quinn and your family. You are all in my prayers. I pray we meet someday. Deborah and Gary Hayes

Condolence From: Rev. Wayne J. Baswick
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with all members of the family. I remember fond times of our playing baseball at Mahoney Park in Hamilton, right across from the Quinn residence on Glennie. While not on the same team in the league, Pat was the catcher and I the first baseman on the All Star team. My hand still feels the 'sting' of Pat throwing the ball down to me for a pick off play of the runner on first. We all know that Pat could shoot a puck, well I attest to the fact Pat could THROW a ball and throw it HARD. Fond memories of Pat from our boyhood days at Hamilton's Mahoney Park. Wayne and Cathy Baswick.

Condolence: In 1963 my Dad took me to the Edmonton Gardens to watch the Oil Kings. My first hockey game that required a ticket to get in! I will never forget sitting behind a pillar in that old rink watching #3, a hard hitting, smooth skating Oil King defenceman named Pat Quinn. A few years ago I met him in person at the Thunderbird Arena at UBC and told him how impressed I was by that experience. He.was a great man on and off the ice. RIP

Condolence: I wish to give my heart felt condolences to the Quinn Family. I had the honor to work for Pat for 3 years in the 80's and I have been an admirer ever since. He was a giant of a man in all aspects of the word. He never demanded respect it came automatic. I have met several great people in my 71 years but none have surpased Mr Pat Quinn.

Condolence: I never met Pat and really have only come to know about him from the recent media write-ups. I wish I could have met him to apologize for mistakenly thinking he was “over the hill” when he was appointed Coach of the Canadian World Junior Team. How wrong I was! Rest in peace, Mr. Quinn.
